Earthquake Globe ("we", "app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

We collect no personally identifiable information. The app does not require an account, email, or any registration.

Location Data

If you grant location permission, your device coordinates are used only on-device to calculate the distance between you and earthquake events. Your location is never sent to our servers or any third party.

Seismic Data

The app fetches publicly available earthquake data from USGS GeoJSON feeds. No personal information accompanies these requests.

Analytics

We may use anonymous, aggregated analytics (e.g., crash reports via Apple) to improve the app. These contain no personal identifiers.

Third-Party Services

We use Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) for earthquake alerts. Notifications are sent using an anonymous device token — not your personal identity.
